An almost full house capacity crowd was on hand at the Rodd Royalty in Charlottetown to witness the induction of 4 new members into the PEI Sports Hall Of Fame:- Kim Dolan (athlete, curling); Debbie MacMurdo (builder, figure skating); Ken “Trixie’ Dunn (builder, baseball and hockey), and the 1964/65 collegiate national silver medal winning hockey team, the Saint Dunstan’s Saints.
It was a wonderful evening with all recipients giving heartfelt acceptance speeches.
Minister Robert Henderson brought greetings from the province, while Blair Campbell was on hand to speak on behalf of the evening sponsor, the PEI Mutual Insurance Company.
The evening was emceed by Hall of Fame member and Chair, Mr Paul H. Schurman
